Sung Hsiang-Pang (b. 1997) is a Kaohsiung-based artist with a graduate degree in Visual Arts from the Plastic Art Institute of the National Tainan University of the Arts. His work focuses on landscapes and materials that linger at the pe-riphery of perception, reconstructing the bodily, mnemonic, and communal experiences that surround them to open up new possibilities of seeing. In doing so, he examines people, objects, and phenomena that—amid technological and environmental shifts—have been filtered out, silenced, or rendered invisi-ble in terms of recognition, meaning, or value. By navigating the edges of con-sciousness, he seeks to challenge reductive and imposed impressions.
